Browned Butter Frosting
- Total Time: 10 Minutes
- A sweet topping for your favorite cake.
- 1/3 C. butter or margarine
- 3 C. confectioners’ sugar, sifted
- 4-5 Tbsp. light cream or undiluted evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp. Grandma’s® Original Molasses
- Brown butter or margarine in a saucepan.
- Add confectioners’ sugar alternately with cream or evaporated milk and molasses.
- Spread over tops and sides of two 8-inch layer cakes.
