BBQ Pulled Pork Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 lbs. pork shoulder or pork butt
- 1 sweet onion, small diced
- 1 C. ketchup
- ¾ C. Grandma’s® Molasses
- ½ C. apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 2 Tbsp. hot sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. Spice Islands® Smoked Paprika
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- ½ tsp. Spice Islands® Cayenne Pepper
- 1 ½ C. Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce
Directions
- Place the pork, fat side up, in a large slow cooker.
- Add the diced onion.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients until well blended.
- Pour over the pork.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
- When done, remove the pork and place on a large sheet pan.
- Remove the bones and fat then use two forks to shred the pork.
- Discard the liquid in the slow cooker. Wipe out the slow cooker with paper towel and spray with non-stick spray.
- Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and add the BBQ sauce. Toss to coat. Return the lid and cook on high for 10-15 minutes or until hot.
- Serve on buns topped with slaw or your favorite toppings.
