BBQ Pulled Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken
- ½ sweet onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¾ C. ketchup
- 6 Tbsp. Grandma’s® Molasses
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ½ tsp. Spice Islands® Smoked Paprika
- Sweet and Sticky BBQ Sauce
Directions
- Place the chicken in a slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, mix the remaining ingredients until well blended.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Turn the chicken several times to coat.
- Cook on high heat for 2-3 hours or low for 4-6 hours. The internal temperature of the chicken should be at least 165˚F.
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and place on a large baking sheet.
- Use two forks to pull the chicken until it is shredded.
- Pour the liquid from the slow cooker into a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and cook until reduced by half.
- Pour over the shredded chicken and toss to coat.
- Use for sandwiches, if desired, and serve with BBQ sauce, pickles, red onion or your favorite toppings.
