Sweet and Sticky BBQ Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 small, sweet onion, diced
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 C. ketchup
- ½ C. Grandma’s® Molasses
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. Spice Islands® Smoked Paprika
Directions
- Pre-measure all ingredients before beginning.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until browned and tender.
- Add the minced garlic and cook an additional 30 seconds.
- Add the remaining ingredients and bring just to a low boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove the sauce from the heat and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Pour sauce into a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Be cautious as the sauce may still be warm.
- Pour into a storage container and keep refrigerated for up to one week.
