Almond Butter Protein Bites Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 C. unflavored Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 C. unsweetened almond butter, well blended
  • 2 Tbsp. Grandma’s® Original Molasses
  • 1 ½ C. dark chocolate chips
  • 3 tsp. coconut oil
  • 1/3 C. toasted, sliced almonds
  • 1 Tbsp. coarse salt

Directions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, almond butter and molasses until fully combined.
  3. Scoop heaping tablespoons of the mixture out onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Place sheet in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Just before removing the bites from the freezer, in a microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate and coconut oil.
  6. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until smooth.
  7. Remove bites from the freezer.
  8. Dip each bite in the melted chocolate, coating completely, and remove with a fork.
  9. Place back onto baking sheet and sprinkle the tops with almonds and coarse salt.
  10. Repeat with all bites then place the sheet back in the freezer for a minute.
  11. Enjoy while frozen!
