Cornbread with Molasses Cinnamon Butter Recipe

Ingredients

 

Cornbread

  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ C. milk
  • ¼ C. Grandma’s® Molasses
  • 1 – 8.5 oz. cornbread mix
  • ¼ C. shredded white cheddar cheese

Directions

 

Cornbread

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray an 8×8-inch dish with no-stick cooking spray such as Baker’s Joy®.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the egg, milk and molasses until well blended.
  3. Stir in the cornbread mix.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and sprinkle the cheese over the top.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until done.

 

Molasses Cinnamon Butter

  1. In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together until well blended and smooth.
  2. Store in the refrigerator.
  3. Set out at room temperature to soften before serving.
