Cornbread with Molasses Cinnamon Butter Recipe
Ingredients
Cornbread
- 1 large egg
- ¼ C. milk
- ¼ C. Grandma’s® Molasses
- 1 – 8.5 oz. cornbread mix
- ¼ C. shredded white cheddar cheese
Molasses Cinnamon Butter
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 Tbsp. Grandma’s® Molasses
- 1/8 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
Directions
Cornbread
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray an 8×8-inch dish with no-stick cooking spray such as Baker’s Joy®.
- In a medium bowl, mix the egg, milk and molasses until well blended.
- Stir in the cornbread mix.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and sprinkle the cheese over the top.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until done.
Molasses Cinnamon Butter
- In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together until well blended and smooth.
- Store in the refrigerator.
- Set out at room temperature to soften before serving.
