Molasses Salted Caramel Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Grandma’s® Original Molasses
 - ¾ cup heavy cream
 - 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
 - ½ tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
 - ½ tsp. coarse salt
 
Directions
- In a 2 qt. saucepan, heat the molasses over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
 - Continue to boil, whisking frequently, for 7 minutes.
 - Remove from the heat and slowly pour in the cream. Whisk until well blended.
 - Whisk in the butter, vanilla and salt until well blended.
 - Allow mixture to cool before transferring to a container with a lid.
 - Refrigerate for up to two weeks. Mixture will thicken significantly with refrigeration.
